Fathom MCP serverand Python AI tasks

qbash hosts a Fathom MCP server you can use in Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, Grok Bot and Muse.

Developers use qbash Tasks to write cloud-hosted Python functions that pair Fathom with models such as Claude and GPT.

MCP server

Build a Fathom MCP server

Give ChatGPT, Claude and your other AI tools access to Fathom through one server. You pick which Fathom tools it shares, and you can add other connectors, memory folders and Tasks to the same server.

How to set it up

  1. Connect Fathom on the qbash Connectors page.
  2. Create an MCP server and add the Fathom tools you want to share.
  3. Paste the server URL into your client. It connects with OAuth or an access token.

Python AI task

Write a Fathom task in Python

A qbash Task is a hosted Python function that calls Fathom and AI models.

Review the week’s meeting follow-ups

Collect meeting summaries and action items from the last seven days for an inline prompt to organise by owner.

main.py
end = datetime.now(timezone.utc)
report = qbash.integrations.fathom.list_meetings(
created_after=(end - timedelta(days=7)).isoformat(),
created_before=end.isoformat(),
include_summary=True,
include_action_items=True,
)
meetings = report.get("meetings", [])
if meetings:
review = qbash.ai.run_prompt(
slug="meeting-follow-ups",
variables={"meetings": json.dumps(meetings)},
)
qbash.output({"review": review, "more_available": bool(report.get("next_cursor"))})
else:
qbash.output("No meetings were returned for this period.")

What the Fathom connector can do

  • List recent meetings with optional date range and recorder filters
  • Search meetings by title keyword with optional date and recorder filters
  • Get the full transcript for a specific recording

qbash Tasks: AI applications in Python

A Task is a Python function that calls Fathom, your other connectors and models such as Claude, GPT, Gemini and Grok. qbash hosts and runs it.

  • Deterministic where it counts Write the logic in Python and call a model only for the steps that need judgement, so the rest runs the same way every time.
  • Version controlled Every save is a revision you can compare and roll back.
  • Logged Each run records its inputs, output, errors and what started it.
  • Shared credentials Connections belong to your organization, so a Task keeps working when its author is away.

Fathom MCP questions

Does Fathom have an official MCP server?

Yes. Fathom runs one at api.fathom.ai/mcp, and you sign in to it with your Fathom account. The qbash server reaches Fathom with an API key and shares a server URL with your other connectors. Python tasks on a schedule can call it too.

Build a Fathom task

Write it in Python with AI steps, and qbash hosts it with versions and run logs.
